My name is Kristine and I am a self-taught artist currently living on a farm in Saskatchewan. I've always been very creative and dabbled with various media over the years, but it wasn't until I tried alcohol inks that I really found my passion.
I haven't had any formal art training since high school, so I guess you could say I'm self taught. I learned from reading books, watching video tutorials, and taking classes from other artists.
Creating art isn't my full time job - I work for a media company during the week- so often you'll find me in my studio in the evenings and on weekends, either working on new paintings, or finishing/varnishing completed art.
I love to create original paintings as well as functional art. I paint coffee mugs, wine glasses, candle holders, ceramic planters and I also make jewelry from pieces of paintings.
